Sea Vixen FAW 1 Conversion Set

This set contains new booms and new top and bottom fuselage sections that only require two straight cuts and some careful trimming to fit the new replacement booms. Also included are three clear resin canopies, that being the front windscreen, the sliding canopy and the new navigators hatch canopy. These parts are all cast as one piece so no tricky assembly required and masks made by Montex are provided.

New seats are supplied mainly to allow the navigators seat to fit as this requires shortening to enable fitment under the new hatch door. 

Other parts are also included those are a new nose wheel door with the early light configeration, and a non framed side window for the navigators hatch. Also the FAW 1 aircraft mainly had the earlier style main door covers, that had bulged sections to them, so a pair of new doors are included. In the picture you will see two navigator hatch doors, only the CLEAR version is supplied the pained version is only to show the interior detail supplied. Also supplied is a new panel that has the semi-circular vent cast into it this is an added part that may be used to improve  upon the kit accurracy.

A comprehensive decal sheet is also included allowing 6 different FAW 1 aircraft to be modelled.
