RAF Fast Jet Crew 1980 - 90's (2 Crew)

 This crew has on standard Nomex flight suits and “speed jeans” or anti-G-suits in green nylon over it. By this time no scarves were being worn, though a “norgy shirt” or Norwegian army shirt is very popular even now.

The MK22c life preserver is of the full jacket type. This is a nylon open weave with built in life collar in green nylon.
Gloves are commonly white kid leather until the 90’s, and then this switched to green.

One of the crew is wearing a “bone dome” or flight helmet; this is often green or white though crews have been known to decorate them in a single colour (such as yellow or red etc.) but never to with elaborate designs like the USA.
